Michigan Paranormal Convention in Sault Ste. Marie
Did you know the largest paranormal convention in the Midwest is held right here in Michigan’s oldest city?
Join the Upper Peninsula Paranormal Research Society (U.P.P.R.S.) and The Sault Events for the 9th Annual Michigan Paranormal Convention (MIPARACON)! Over 40 paranormal experts will take the stage at Kewadin Casinos DreamMakers Theater on August 23-25, 2018. Purchase your convention tickets here!
The best thing about MIPARACON is that the convention participants can actually MEET the paranormal stars. At MIPARACON, the stars aren’t always on stage or locked away in their rooms. (Photo of Grant Wilson and fan from the 2016 MIPARACON he will be returning for 2018)
MIPARACON brings an array of television personalities to the convention and experts in their fields. Talk with Jeff Mudgett, the descendant of notorious serial killer H.H. Holmes and host of the History Channe’s American Ripper. You can also have a fantastic conversation with well-known psychics like Chip Coffey or Exie Smith.
Josh Gates, of the Travel Channel’s Expedition Unknown, took a day out of his busy filming schedule to join us for Saturday only!
Amy Allan of the Travel Channel’s Dead Files will be returning to the stage for the 2018 MIPARACON.
There’s also an opportunity to shop the vendor room with your convention wristband. From psychic readings to books about the paranormal you will find a little bit of everything. The stars even have vendor tables set up so you know where to find them when they’re not on stage. Pictured below are Andrea Perron and her father Roger Perron (Photo from 2017).
Stop and meet Greg & Dana Newkirk, curators of the Traveling Museum of the Paranormal & the Occult in the vendor room too. (photo from 2017)
This amazing three-day convention culminates with a plated dinner with the paranormal stars. You could find John Zaffis of Haunted Collector sitting next to you or even Dustin Pari of Ghost Hunter. (photo form 2016)
Be sure to enjoy local dining and The Soo Locks during your off hours while you’re in the area. Document your adventures in Sault Ste Marie on social media, and use #ILovetheSoo! Interested in attending the Michigan Paranormal Convention?
