Light Up The Soo – A New Family Tradition in Sault Ste. Marie, MI!
You’ve piled into the car and drove around looking at decorated homes, but now see them from 210 feet in the air! We invite you to start a new holiday tradition this year in Sault Ste. Marie with Light up the Soo.
The Tower of History opens for this special two-week event allowing visitors to travel to the top of the tower in an express elevator and view the city’s holiday lights. See the Twin Saults from the comfort of the enclosed observation deck, or brave the elements and take the stairs up to the open-air platform.
2017 Light up the Soo will run from December 15th until the 31st from 5-9pm (closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day). See the lights early then visit downtown Sault Ste. Marie for dinner at one of the many restaurants. Holiday lights aren’t just for kids; downtown is filled with establishments for grown-ups too.
Sault Ste Marie is the place to be this holiday season with unique shopping by day and spectacular lights by night at the Tower of History with Light up the Soo! Be sure to share your holiday experience with us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter and use the hashtag #ILovetheSoo.
