Fall in love with Fall Festival in Sault Ste. Marie!
Well, it’s that time of year again! The leaves are changing, the pumpkin spice is flowing, and the air is getting as crisp as the sweaters are cuddly. That also means that it’s Fall Festival in downtown Sault Ste. Marie!
This Saturday, September 28th will be a day full of crafts, activities, and family fun downtown. At 10 am, Portage Avenue activities will commence. This is a perfect opportunity to shop local makers and artisans. Be the favorite this holiday season and stock up on unique gifts for your family and friends!
Family friendly activities include a family scavenger hunt, Fall and Halloween themed children’s story time inside Island Books & Crafts, and complimentary hayrides around the downtown area.
Take a chance to win sweet treats and also support the Hospice House of the Eastern Upper Peninsula by participating in the Dancing with the Stars Cake Walk and Pie in the Face Fundraisers. Test your throwing skills by taking aim at two “Sooelebrities” who have graciously donated their faces to this outrageously fun and messy event! The Crooked Music sound stage will also feature performances throughout the day.
Grown-ups only events include the Dancing with the Stars Hospice House Cornhole Tournament and the Alpha Bar Beer Olympics, complete with live DJ, fire pit, and the Annual Stein Hoisting contest at 6 pm sharp.
This action packed event begins bright and early before Fall Fest even starts with the Sault International Festival of Races! Dozens of athletes will be running, walking and biking in the pursuit of glory! It’s not too late to sign up! Register for one of the four events here.
Fuel up for the rest of the day’s activities at the Kegs and Eggs Breakfast inside 1668 Winery & Lockside Brewery. Race participants receive a special discount!
