Fright seekers will have two opportunities this year to test their fear tolerance during the seventh annual Stalfest at the Stalwart Fairgrounds.
The Stalwart Agricultural Fair fundraiser features one of the Eastern Upper Peninsula’s more fearsome “spookhouses” in the form of a haunted barn. This year it’ll open its doors Friday and Saturday, Oct. 4 and 5 from 7-10 p.m. The haunted barn is also open the following week, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 11 and 12 at the same time.
