Take in live performances from some of the most talented musical acts around right from the Soo Locks Park. Music in the Park takes place every Wednesday throughout the summer. The first performance is set for June 23, 2021.

Get to town early for the Farmers Market 4 - 6:30pm at the corner Ashmun and Portage.

More details will be announced at a later date.

Music in the Park, now in its 23rd season, will kick off June 23rd and continue every Wednesday through August in the Soo Locks Park.

Concerts are free to attend; however, donations are always welcomed to help cover the series. Entertainment begins at 7 PM.

A diverse selection of local and regional entertainment will perform tunes from a variety of musical genres ranging from traditional country, folk, rock, blues, original tunes and more!

In keeping with tradition, Soo Theatre Project will begin the concert series, previewing selections from their upcoming theatre season. Returning favorites include: Petoskey Steel Drum Band, The Gordon Lightfoot Tribute, Night of Native Music, Gentleman George and The Pub Runners.

Each year the Downtown Development Authority receives a grant from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs which helps offset the summer’s concert series. Twenty-two local businesses and community partners also generously help pay for Music in the Park in addition to grants and crowd donations.
