The Eastern Upper Peninsula Youth Mental Health Committee, Chippewa County Department of Health and Human Services, Families Against Narcotics Chippewa County and Bayliss Public Library are presenting a community empowerment film series.
The series consists of three films selected to spread awareness in the community about adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), toxic stress, but to also provide hope and educate audiences on buffers to promote positive mental health outcomes. Films will be shown the first three Wednesdays of October, each beginning at 6 PM. Admission is free. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. A short community conversation will be facilitated at the end each movie. Light refreshments will be provided by The Wicked Sister.
