Zombie’s Dominate the Soo One Night for Autism

Posted on October 5th, 2016

The Zombie Walk, Friday October 28, is in its 5th year of raising funds for Sault Ste. Marie’s local Autism chapter of Corner Pieces. This creepy event is exactly what it sounds like, participants (family friendly) show up at the corner of Ashmun and Portage dressed in varying degrees of deathdscn1932

and at approximately 7pm the horde slowly make their way up Ashmun St. to the Soo Theater.

The police are always present to make sure it’s an orderly event.

As stated before this is a family friendly event so kids are welcome, but it is a little creepy.

This is a great date night at only $5 per Zombie.

There’s a costume contest (with prizes) and haunted theater included in the $5 fee.
