Fishing and Charters

We take our fishing very seriously in Sault Ste. Marie! The scenic St. Marys River offers amazing fishing virtually year-round; sample the iconic waterway’s multi-species fishery, including four species of salmon and spectacular steelhead, northern pike, walleye, and small-mouthed bass. The diversity of the St. Marys River provides great opportunities for sports fishing in our many lakes and bays.  Keep scrolling for tournament and charter information.

Use the St. Marys River Annual Peak Fishing Guide to help determine your fishing trip to Sault Ste. Marie. There are numerous rivers that have extended seasons on these species, please visit the Department of Natural Resources Michigan Fishing Guide for specific details.
