St. Marys Small Jaw Slam Bass Tournament September 5-6 2015
Get in on world-class smallmouth bass fishing with thousands in cash prizes up for grabs when the St. Marys Small Jaw Slam Tournament rocks the river. Plan to be in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan September 5th & 6th 2015 for some astounding fishing.
The tournament will be a two team member format, $150 per team, allowing competitors to choose their partner. Double the fun and split the expenses. The early fall is expected to produce fast fishing on the rivers with abundant smallmouth, making the event a high-stakes big-fish shootout. The scenic St. Marys River offers amazing fishing virtually year-round, but August and September are top times to sample the iconic waterways for smallmouth bass.
A pre-tournament rules meeting and a last opportunity to register for the
St. Marys Small Jaw Slam will be at 7:00pm September 4th at the Aune-Osborn Park. This meeting is mandatory to participate in the tournament.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Lake Superior State University Bass Club. This will help cover the costs of competing on a national level in the Collegiate B.A.S.S. and FLW College Series. The Lake Superior State University Bass Club was developed to provide Michigan students the opportunity to participate in the growing sport of collegiate bass fishing.
The public is invited to the weigh-ins at Aune-Osborn Park in Sault Ste. Marie, MI starting at 3 p.m. (EST) Saturday and Sunday.
