Finn Grand Fest 2010
Finn Grand Fest is a North American Finnish Cultural Festival that is held every 5 years, alternating between the United States of America and Canada. Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario has won the rights to host the 2010 festival.
The festival will celebrate and promote Finnish culture, language, history, education, entertainment and sporting events. Registration forms are available online at www.finngrandfest2010.com or at the Finn Grand Fest Office, 421 Bay St., Suite 502, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A The public is invited to experience Finnish culture, kinship and folklore!
2nd Annual Sault History Fest
The public is invited to celebrate Sault Ste. Marie history with Fur Trading demonstrations, historic re-enactments such as the Saginaw Voyageurs Encampment, vendors & displays, children's games, crafts, and music such as the Finn Hall Band. Admission is free!
Friday: Fish Boil from 5-7 p.m. Advance tickets are $12.00 and can be purchased at the Sault Ste. Marie Convention & Visitors Bureau, 536 Ashmun St., the Chippewa Co. Historical Society at 115 Ashmun St., and the Sault Area Chamber of Commerce at 2581 I-75 Business Spur.

Hospice of the EUP 2nd Annual Bike Rally
2010 Harley Davidson Fat Boy to be raffled . Poker run to start at noon from the Jack Pine. Registration starts at ten. There will be music and a pig roast barbeque following the poker run at the Jack Pine. All proceeds will go to support Hospice of the EUP "Building a Dream" Hospice House.
Raffle tickets can be purchased from local businesses or by calling Hospice of the EUP.

9th Annual Connor Gorsuch Kid's Fishing Day
Kids sixteen and under can enjoy a free day of fishing at the kids fishing pond at Rotary Island. Registration is from 8-9 a.m. Food and prizes! some equipment is available, but you are encouraged to bring your own. There will be no use of lures, only bobbers and hooks.
