World Record Parade
On February 1st, 2018, come to Sault Ste. Marie to help us try to break the world record for the largest snowmobile parade! We need at least 1,048 snowmobiles on February 1, 2018, the Thursday before the 50th Annual International 500 Snowmobile Race.
The $5.00 registration fee per sled is used to cover the costs incurred to break the record. The cost will be $10.00 if you register the day of the event.
All snowmobile operators must have a valid driver’s license and a registered sled.
On the day of the event, you must register again in-person from 9 AM - 12 PM, and then make your way to your designated staging area in enough time to get yourself and your co-riders organized for the start at 2 PM.
We have an important announcement:
Registration on February 1st will be at the Antlers Restaurant at 804 E. Portage Ave. from 9 AM to 12 PM.
This registration is essential, because this is where we will be collecting the information that we could not get online: your driver's license and your snowmobile registration information. Email: email@example.com if you would like the form to fill out prior to registration.
All participants must attend this registration.
Please have your driver's license and snowmobile registration information ready when you go to the Antlers.
If you are local and would like to register prior to the first you may do so on Jan. 31st Wednesday from 12-5pm inside the lobby of City Hall at 225 Portage Ave.
Once you have completed registration at the Antlers, please make your way to your assigned staging areas before 2 PM so that we may start exactly at 2 PM. Snowmobiles will be leaving their staging areas between 1pm and 1:30pm to get to the starting line.
If you pre-register online, the cost is $5.00, and the cost will be $10.00 if you register in-person the day of the event - February 1st.
