I’ve written almost a full year of blogs and it recently dawned on me that I have a treasure trove of stories written by others you might enjoy. Here are five good reads from others who have visited Sault Ste. Marie.

“12 Facts about the Soo Locks for Trolls and other Novices” is a long title but Rebecca Calkins hits all the main points. If you want to learn about the Soo Locks, this is a perfect list.

Sault Ste. Marie was a “MittenTrip” stop for History and adventure for Shalee Blackmer of Awesome Mitten. Shalee gives you a day-by-day what to do in the Soo from attractions to restaurants and then explores the Tahquamenon Falls State Park.

Shalee had such a good time in the Soo that she wrote a second blog “An Unexpected Romantic Mitten Trip to Sault Ste. Marie“. You might not think of the Soo as a romantic getaway, but a couple can find amazing lodging and the perfect adventure for two in the Soo.
